North Central Kansas Libraries Services Consultant
Under the direction of the NCKLS Director, the Library Services Consultant plans and executes programs and services for NCKLS libraries, including a complete continuing education program and maintaining a robust professional collection for library staff. Responsibilities also include accessing and developing local services and consulting on topics of library operations, including but not limited to customer service, budget and finance, trustee development, collections, circulation, policy, procedure, planning, programming and community engagement.
Requirements for the position are: MLS degree, two-year library experience, and one-year experience coordinating programs or activities. The starting salary is $51,096/year and includes a generous benefit package.
Requires the ability to: operate a PC and use relevant computer software programs pertaining to library services; provide instruction and training for small and large groups; operate a motor vehicle; and possess a valid driver’s license.
